A family owned company where the businee has traditionally been run by the family members themselves (the fourth generation being in charge today) since its foundation in 1910. Sakip Muftuoglu, the founder of the company developed a recipe for a very special soap with the main ingredients being a combination of pure Olive and Sweet Bay Leaf oil extracted from the local trees of the Southern Mediterannian coast of Turkey. |
Today his great-granson still uses the same recipe and traditional organic process to produce "DAPHNE" soap.
